History
The Car People was originally founded in 2005 with a clear mission—to provide real recruitment solutions tailored to the unique needs of the automotive industry in Queensland. For almsot six years, we partnered with dealerships and automotive businesses to connect them with the right talent, delivering results that made a lasting impact. In late 2010, our Founder Lynne sold The Car People as a going concern so she could dedicate time to raising her son in those precious early years. Whilst Lynne stepped away from her own recruitment business, she remained working in the automotive space, strengthening her relationships, growing her network and keeping up with the ever-changing needs of the industry. Fast forward to 2025, and The Car People is back with Lynne at the helm—stronger, sharper, and more in tune with the needs of today’s automotive businesses. We are bringing a full suite of recruitment and resourcing solutions to the industry once again, backed by decades of experience and a deep understanding of its challenges. With a unique & cost effective business model designed to make partnering with The Car People a no-brainer - The Car People is set to redefine how automotive businesses source, hire and retain top talent.
